National Lockdown

Dear Parents/Carers,

You will have heard last night that the country is entering a National Lockdown which includes the closing of primary schools from midnight. Whilst Abbey Mead will need to move most pupils to online learning, we remain committed to offering in school places to the children of Key Workers and those identified as having particular needs.  You will have received a phone call yesterday from your teachers to discuss this so they will be ready and expecting to see the children of key workers and identified pupils today.

The short notice from the government will likely have raised many questions for you and your families.  Staff will be contacting parents again today to discuss home learning, the collection of packs and be able to answer any questions that you might have.

Once again, we are here to support you as a community and we will get through this difficult time together.

Kindest regards,

Mr Aldred
